It Doesn’t Come In A Bottle

Who doesn’t want a shortcut to wellness? A 20-minute a week workout that will keep you fit, a ‘magic wand’ you can wave and no longer struggle with sugar cravings, etc.

A friend shared a Facebook ad showing a new ‘miracle’ diet product that’s going up against Ozempic saying it doesn’t come with the ‘Ozempic face’ side effect many users are talking about.

The ad features a startling image (complete with a messy haired woman who looked near death) as the outcome of Ozempic use vs. their miracle weight loss pill that will seemingly lead to you look like a nearly flawless, fit and healthy model.

TRUTH BOMB

Unless you address your daily habits and your thoughts about your self-care, any resulting weight loss is will be temporary.

Diets have a 95% failure rate for this reason. They are a set of rules you follow. You’re either on or off the diet, and they don’t address your habits or how you think about your wellness and prioritize your self-care. (Click here for a snapshot of how coaching compares to diets.)

The ‘pill bottle’ images I share with this blog reinforce that our lifestyle behaviors are the ‘vitamins’ we need to fuel a healthy life and need to be taken daily. They are the roots of our self care. The behaviors they feature are foundational to good health and don’t come in pill form. They require daily effort, but the results are lasting and pay huge dividends.

There’s no ‘magic bullet’, no pill, no surgery or shot that will solve all your weight loss issues. While I’m not discounting that GLP1 drugs such as Ozempic have helped many people with life-long weight loss struggles, they come at a huge price with many questionable side effects and the sustainability of their weight loss outcomes is very tenuous.

I encourage you to check out a short video I created about wellness habits here.

Best way to shift a habit is with support and positive reinforcement. That’s what my Get (and Stay) Started program is designed around. We kick off a new 4-week program February 1 and I’m making a special limited time offer that’s so good, it’s an easy YES:

Join with a friend and you can split the enrollment cost. At as low as $147 ($73 each) for 4 weeks of coaching, how much easier of a yes could it be?

Get the program details here or connect with me directly for a confidential, no-obligation, judgement-free chat.

Your future, healthier self is thanking you already!
