KEEPING YOUR IMMUNITY STRONG
There are lots of myths about how to keep our immune systems strong. My video separates fact from fiction.
With winter and indoor gatherings, many people are down and out with influenza, Covid and even the dreaded Norovirus. Many clients and friends are asking me, ‘how do I keep my immune system in peak form to fend off these bugs and bounce bag quicker if I do succumb to them?”
Good news is, there’s much within our control. In this blog I’m sharing links and at short video to dispel common myths about immune system function so you can understand what you can do to take charge and increase the likelihood of staying well thru the winter.
Like a successful return to your happy weight and other health investments, your immune system function is based in self care and positive lifestyle habits such as regular exercise that keeps inflammation low and good gut microbiome that’s fed by a whole foods and a minimally processed diet. Managing stress, minimizing alcohol and not smoking go a long way to staying strong as well.
