Cultivate Gratitude & Embrace Calm

After a daily practice of gratitude spanning nearly two decades, this has become abundantly clear to me:

It’s impossible to feel stressed and grateful at the same time

When we shift our focus from worrying about the things that might go wrong (like our brains are hard-wired to dwell upon) to being grateful for all the abundance in our lives, something magical happens: We open up to naturally seeing silver linings in even the most dire of situations.

Researcher have found myriad benefits of practicing gratitude daily. The benefits are available to anyone in as little a 3 to 5 minutes a day.

When we combine gratitude with daily proactive stress management activities? Huge health benefits can result.

When we get ahead of the undercurrent of our stress, we are better able to minimize our tendencies to overeat and binge eat.

This is why I’m combining these two focus areas in November for my next 4-week Get (and Stay) Started program.

November is a time that many people turn their hearts toward the topic of gratitude, but with my Get (and Stay) Started, you can build a habit of gratitude into a sustainable practice that will serve you long term plus push back stress and weight gain that so often comes with the holiday season.

Click here for a closer look at week-by-week content and value the November program offers and how it will leave you feeling less stressed and more grateful than ever.
